Who is Hazard?

Hazard Productions is Nathan Farrington's Los Angeles–based audio/production company. It connects top classical minds with artistic opportunities in movie and TV production, and stages original concerts, events, and plays around the country.

Nathan Farrington has been the principal bassist for LA Opera since 2016. After graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music, he was struck by the broad creativity of the classical musicians with whom he was regularly playing. He began looking for creative ways to connect their diverse talents and the insular world of classical music to the broader entertainment industry. He has done this again and again through Hazard Audio's unique productions.

 

Hazard Productions has collaborated with Rivers Cuomo, Jack Harlow, Freddie Wong, Teddy Abrams, Cory Henry, Sam Bush, and Skrillex. Nate and his team have developed a silent movie score for Eisenstein's 'Battleship Potemkin', and a new adaptation of Stravinsky's 'Soldier's Tale'.
